Continue shoppingIn the soft light of a small atelier on Rue de Bellechasse, Leviana — a young Parisian woman — began creating delicate, handmade accessories for women in her neighborhood. Her work wasn’t about luxury; it was about love and detail — the quiet kind of beauty that comes from care, not status.
Her atelier became known for its “graceful simplicity” — French women came not just to shop, but to talk, to share, to feel seen. Leviana always said,
That belief became her signature.
In the 1970s, her daughter took what her mother had taught her — craftsmanship, warmth, integrity — and began to dream bigger. She wanted to bring the same spirit of Parisian grace to women abroad.
So in the early 1980s, she moved to the United States with her husband, and after years of searching for a place that felt like home, they found Charleston — a city filled with charm, history, pastel streets, and the same quiet grace her mother had loved.
Charleston felt like a mirror of Paris: elegant, timeless, and built on hospitality.
Three generations later, the legacy continues as Leviana & Daughters — Charleston. Still guided by Leviana’s philosophy of grace and care, still blending French refinement with Southern warmth.
Every piece we make carries both cities in its story: the artistry of Paris and the tenderness of Charleston.
